First Baptist church Lehigh Acres accepts new members in three ways; first is by baptism.  When someone makes their first-time profesion of faith, they are baptised and they may then request membership. Second, if someone has been a member of another Southern Baptist Church they may have us request their "Letter of Membership" from their previous church and third, they may come by "statement".  If someone has been a member of a like minded church they may state that they are joining our church.

It is requsted that all members of our church be baptised by immersion and member candidates must take our New Members GROW Class.  In GROW Class you will learn who we are and what we believe, spiritual disciplens like pray, Bible study and giving as well as how to find your place of service in our church.  At the end you wil have the oportunity to covanant with us in membership.  GROW Class is a six hour class, on six Wednesday nights from 7:00PM - 8:00PM.  We offer the class 3 time a year, so check the newsletter, call the church office, or make a note on your Communication Card on Sunday to sign up.
